Vampire Weekend

Did you ever love Paul Simon’s Graceland? Still do? Did you ever wish it rocked? Still do? Columbia Class of 2007’s Vampire Weekend combine great song writing and Afro-Pop rhythms as astutely as Rhymin’ Simon did in ’88; but, they replace Simon’s folk sensibility with pop sweetness, punk energy, and collegiate swagger. Meet the brothers down at the house, crack some beers, invite over some ladies, and throw on Vampire Weekend. The rest will take care of itself.
