Two Rivers, two field trips

Two Rivers "Public Charter" School's website boasts that the school uses an "Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound Curriculum". A recent Washington City Paper article reveals that that translates to two field trips per school year. The article profiles a third grade class' trip not to the National Gallery of Art, not to the Air & Space Museum, not to explore one of those two rivers, but to check out "dingy nightclubs" with "bar owner" Joe Englert. One student reported that "it didn't smell very good." I agree, but that is the smell of your tax dollars at work, young man!

You're not counting the daily excursions into North Capitol Hill, a dangerous neighborhood inhabited by black people and poor Hill staffers.
